Montagne Noir is operated from Crans-Montana, Valais, Switzerland. We treat personal information with the same discretion we apply to the rest of our work.

What we collect

When you write to us through the contact form or by email we receive your name, your email address, and whatever you tell us in the message. When you subscribe to our newsletter we keep your email address. When you visit the site, our hosting provider records standard server logs — IP address, browser, referrer — and we use Vercel Analytics and Google Analytics to understand which pages people read. Both are configured without advertising cookies.

What we do with it

We use what you send us to answer you. We use the newsletter list only to send the newsletter. We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it with a service provider only when it is necessary to operate the site or respond to you — currently Resend (transactional email), Vercel (hosting and analytics) and Google Analytics — each bound by their own data protection terms.

How long we keep it

Inbound messages are kept while a conversation is open and for as long afterwards as Swiss commercial record-keeping requires. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs and analytics data are retained according to the providers' standard windows.

Your rights

Under Swiss data protection law and the GDPR, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to concierge@montagnenoir.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Cookies

We use cookies only for analytics. We do not run advertising cookies and we do not share data with ad networks. Most browsers let you block or clear cookies if you prefer.

Changes

If this notice changes meaningfully we will update the date at the top of the page. For anything substantive we will say so on the homepage as well.
